Do I need to attend all scheduled classes in a month?

Accepted Answer

No.  Regularly scheduled Fortune Digital Equity classes have rolling attendance, so you can attend as many or as few as you'd like.  However, multi-part workshops on special topics may require full attendance.

Question 2

Do I need to register for a class in order to attend?

Accepted Answer

No.  For regularly scheduled classes we allow walk-in attendance.  However, we give priority to participants registered in advance.  For specialized, multi-sessions workshops, registration may be required.

Question 3

Can I get assistance with digital skills not listed in the class catalog or scheduled on the calendar?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  Please contact us about the skills you'd like assistance with, and we'll schedule some one-on-one time with you.  Or go to our individual support page to find open sessions and support desk hours.

Question 4

Do I automatically qualify for a laptop as a Fortune Society participant?

Accepted Answer

No.  Laptop access and supplies are limited.  To ensure devices get to those who are the most in need and most responsible, we ask that participants attend at least 5 Digital Equity classes before they receive a laptop referral.
